The memes have been fun, and they will continue. But it is important to remember at the end of the day that there’s humans on every side of this contentious issue. Faculty push for stable employment and an increase in wages to match regional averages, the Board of Governors fears that damaging the finances at this point in time will stagnate our increasing enrollment rates, and the students are increasingly annoyed at the lack of information provided by either sides.

Attacking someone for taking a differing side in this issue does nothing. Educate yourself, form your own opinion, look at a diverse set of information, and deal with the strike in your own way.
