A Safe Sex Sonnet
In bed, one will ask “Are you ready?”‘Ready’ has little to do with your age,you do not have to be going steady. There is no ‘right place’ or certain life stage. So long as someone uses some latexprior to showing all your affection,it’s drilled into your brain: “Practice safe sex!”The pill is not well rounded protection.Move fast, slow or upside down, remain bold!Sex is flat if you don’t communicate.Grant that you don’t want a bundle to hold,it is simple to evade a due date. This sonnet has one thing to reinforce, have happy, healthy, and safe intercourse!Beautiful
Look in the mirror and put on your face. Some waterproof mascara frames each eyebecause you must be prepared just in caseyour day turns from bad to worse and you cry.If a tear should fall, you will have to sootheyourself by feeling the bumps in your braid.Despite the dips and curves, your hair is smooth.Use this as fuel–be proud of what you’ve made.Take a deep breath, wipe the tears from your shirt. If not for you, do this for your lover, hide best as you can the fear and the hurt.Use your appearance, don’t blow your cover.Look, dress and act as a little cutie.Isn’t that the true meaning of beauty?
Sonnet II
He tried to break free but he’s not still around
He tried to get up but his will had been drowned
Tried to sit tall but he slouched on the wall
Tried to walk but settled to crawl
He could feel his body; every weighing pound
Strong like a magnet stuck to the ground
He could feel his pride taking a fall
Torn down into nothing hearing the call
Of a crowd so proud he knew not to stay
The speed was fierce and the power was fright
But he knew himself and his only sin
When the fist came around for a powerful slay
He dug deep inside and discovered his fight
And he had no other option, but to win
