Science Fact of the Week

Saturn’s moons responsible for its tilt

A tilt of 27 degrees was observed in the planet Saturn which is caused by its Moons. Titan, which is the planet’s largest moon is one of the main moon involved that is moving further which is causing a title in the gas giant. As compared top past few years, the planet’s satellites are moving away faster than before and by the researchers calculations, if the speed keeps increasing with this rate it will lead to planet titling more and double in a few billion years. This is due to one of the physics fundamental tenets that two objects exert force on each other regardless of how different their size is.
