My name is Yoram Schroll and I am ecstatic to be one of the candidates for VP Finance and Operations. As an international student coming to Canada I really value Acadia’s warm and welcoming community. I want to return the favour. I did my part in creating a strong and healthy community as a Resident Assistant of Chipman House for the past two years.
I would like to continue contributing to Acadia and what it means to call this your home as your VP Finance and Operations.
Going into my 4th year as an Acadia business student I am confident in my abilities to complete the positions task.
But telling you that I am going to do what I am required of is waste of yours and my time.
I will stress the importance of financial transparency and consistent communication by keeping the student population in the loop on the Union’s expenditures.
I will show support to Internal Organization’s, Councils and the general student body in finding financial solutions to problems. I won’t always have the answer to your question, but I certainly will help you find it.
I will firmly represent the students of Acadia in all aspects finance and operations.
Finally, I will constantly look for new revenue streams that will ensure all students are able to create their own unforgettable Acadia experience.
