The ASU general election is ongoing!
The nomination date for candidates has been extended to February 3rd at 8 pm.
During the general election, all Acadia students are eligible to run and vote for candidates to represent them.
There are several roles available such as:
- President
- Vice President Academic & External
- Vice President Events & Promotions
- Vice President of Finance & Operations
- Vice President Student Life
As well as counselor and senator roles such as:
- Arts Senator
- Pure and Applied Science Senator
- Professional Studies Senator
- Theology Senator
- Graduate Studies Senator
- Sustainability Councilor
- Community Relations Council
- Councilor at large
- Councilor at large
There will be mandatory candidate training session on february 5th, with the campaign period starting on Feburary 7th and ending on the 15th.
The voting period will be from February 14th at 8am to February 15th at 8pm.
