Hi! My name is Hannah Machat and I am running for the position of Sustainability Officer. I am in my third year of Environmental Science and currently completing a co-op placement with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. If elected for this position, I hope to continue on past successful projects from Sustainability Officers such as Sustainability Week and education programs. Nevertheless, I believe and am committed to changes that will drive innovation and new ideas. I would love to hear your thoughts on additional means for creating stronger sustainable practices at Acadia, so please feel welcome to reach out and contact me. Only with our individual and collective ideas will we make change for a sustainable future happen. Sustainability and the environment are in all of our hands – do not forget to vote on February 13th and 14th!
