It takes feet to land

But a person to fall.

2 hands to hold on,

None to let go.

You want a person to catch you

So you don’t have to care,

But in the end

You do.

Because it’s alright to be scared.

But if the person’s not there

You hit the ground hard.

And while mud runs with blood

You think; how could I give up so much?

You believe it wasn’t your fault

But you made the choice

To jump without looking.

And in the end,

Someone always gets hurt.
